Prerequisites
- PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent – see PADI Rescue Diver.
- Current CPR and first aid – see Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary and Secondary Care.
- At least 40 logged dives to start and 60 to finish and apply for membership.
- Age 18 or older.
What you will gain
- To lead certified divers and assist instructors with courses.
- Five water skills sessions, rescue evaluation and five practical assessments with students and certified divers.
- In-depth dive theory plus Search and Recovery and Deep Dive modules.
How the course works
The course is intensive and needs the right attitude and a lot of hard work. You can also complete it as part of an internship programme: contact us. Helpful extras: PADI Search and Recovery Diver, PADI Underwater Cartographer and Compressor Systems Orientation. The next step is PADI Assistant Instructor (AI) or PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC).

100+ metres is the Mount Everest of scuba diving. Far fewer people have dived that deep than have stood on top of Everest. Join the challenge: training, warm-up dives and the descent to 100+ m. Start from zero or from any point in your diving, even as a Tec Trimix 65 diver.
The final programme includes a certificate and a t-shirt. We run it in cooperation with Dive Aqaba.
