Prerequisites
- PADI Tec 40 Diver (or qualifying certification) – see PADI Tec 40.
- PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification, with CPR and first aid within the last 2 years) – see PADI Rescue Diver.
- 50 logged dives: 12 on Enriched Air below 18 m and at least 6 below 30 m.
- Age 18 or older. A current fit-to-dive medical signed by a physician.
What you will gain
- Gas-switch accelerated decompression dives using any mix of nitrox or oxygen.
- Motor skills for technical diving, risks and hazards.
- How to respond to foreseeable emergencies in technical diving.
How the course works
You use a full tec rig with wings, double tanks and a side-slung deco tank, or a sidemount configuration (PADI Tec Sidemount Diver). Next: PADI Tec 50.
