PADI Tec 50

Prerequisites
- PADI Tec 45 Diver (or qualifying certification) – see PADI Tec 45.
- PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent, with CPR and first aid within the last 2 years) – see PADI Rescue Diver.
- 100 logged dives: 20 on Enriched Air, 25 below 18 m and at least 15 below 30 m.
- Age 18 or older. A current fit-to-dive medical signed by a physician.
What you will gain
- Gas-switch extended no-decompression, decompression and accelerated decompression dives to 50 m (165 ft).
- The hazards and risks of technical diving.
- How to prepare for and handle foreseeable technical emergencies.
How the course works
If you meet all the prerequisites you can complete PADI Tec 40, PADI Tec 45 and PADI Tec 50 in one 10-day course known as Tec Deep Diver. Continue with PADI Tec Trimix 65 or the wreck specialty Taiyong Diver (technical wreck specialty).
