- Age 10 or older.
- Good health: you complete a short medical questionnaire (a doctor’s sign-off if any answer is yes).
- No diving experience and no certification needed.

- Safety basics and how scuba equipment works.
- To breathe underwater, clear your mask and move calmly with your instructor.
- Whether scuba diving is for you, with no commitment.
How the course works
The programme has three parts: knowledge development and a thorough briefing, a skill training session in shallow water, and a dive with your instructor. Everything you complete can be counted toward the PADI Open Water Diver course, so if you decide to continue you do not repeat it. See also the shorter Try dive.

The Tsereve Challenge: Everest in reverse
100+ metres is the Mount Everest of scuba diving. Far fewer people have dived that deep than have stood on top of Everest. Join the challenge: training, warm-up dives and the descent to 100+ m. Start from zero or from any point in your diving, even as a Tec Trimix 65 diver.
The final programme includes a certificate and a t-shirt. We run it in cooperation with Dive Aqaba.
